KOS canker bossom in tears after shove

Mike Stark is a pussy.
Mike Stark not beaten badly enough

KOS MOFO Mike Stark attacked by Allen thugs

Stark  was not beaten, as you can see by watching the video tape, but he was restrained from approaching Allen, and wrestled to the ground when he resisted.  He admits to yelling at Allen. "Why did you spit on your first wife?" I have no idea what that alludes to, but you can be assured there was more to it than these canker blossoms will admit to.  There is even a chance that the whole thing was staged.

If you want real beatings, however, talk to Freeper Don Adams who was beaten senseless by union thugs in Philadelphia.  Or to Matt Margolis , also attacked by a union thug in Boston.  Republican "thugs " tend to be a bit more gentlemanly than democrat goons. Which is a shame.

UPDATE STORY

''In a Monday posting on "Calling All Wingnuts," the blog Stark publishes, he hinted that he would attempt to provoke Allen before the TV cameras.

"Im also trying to 'Roger and Me' George Allen whenever I can," Stark wrote, referring to director Michael Moore's 1989 documentary in which he repeatedly tried to confront former General Motors' chief executive Roger Smith about the company's downsizing.

In August, Stark similarly approached Allen after a speech at a hotel near Staunton, loudly asking if he had ever used a common six-letter epithet against blacks.''

Immanuel Kant for Dummies
The most fundamental of all the liberal principles handed down to us from the Enlightenment and the very cornerstone of our civilization is the "categorical imperative" of Immanuel Kant:
KANT

One cannot act on that maxim which one cannot will to be universal. In other words, if it's OK for me to do it, it has to be OK for everybody to do it. If it's not OK for everybody to do it, then it's not OK for me to do it either.

"What I just can't get pastis that we are saying it's OK for us to have nuclear weapons, but it's not OK for the North Koreans or the Iranians."
Slapdown = "That the Kantian principle cannot apply in international relations, at least not unless we are prepared to adopt a thoroughgoing pacifist and (I would say) suicidal policy by disarming and disbanding our armed forces and refusing to fight against those who wish us harm. So long as we admit that a nation has the right to defend itself, we must also admit that it is necessary to adopt a different standard for ourselves and for our enemies." Immanuel Kant for Dummies

The liberal Democrat's toll of lives lost
On yesterday's Oprah Show, which was again our TIVO'd dining companion, the theme was incredible survivals. One such story concerned an Indian woman who was sold into slavery at age seven, but survived and married a Vietnamese man who, as a boy of nine, was put on a boat by his father so that he might survive the genocide that was the rule in post war Vietnam. His was truly a horrifying tale, and during it all I wondered whether Oprah realized that his plight was a direct result of congressional Democrat behavior in the 1970's, just as they are now poised to do to the Middle East? Of course she doesn't.

Drew Brees

She's Your Mom!
Yes, Mina Brees is a sorry-ass. A Democrat, this attorney from Austin is running for a seat on Texas' 3rd Court of Appeals. But how bad is it when your own son publicly tells her to keep him out of her campaign because she's an underhanded bitch ? Oh, right, her son is NFL quarterback Drew Brees, and Momma Mina tried to capitalize on that in a series of television campaign ads. Whoops. On the one hand, anything that keeps any Democrat from further infiltrating our court system is a good thing. On the other hand, she's your mother Drew. Sheesh. [Brees v. Brees]

Citizen Arrest Here Boss

Tee-mod suggestion by L. Rive Gauche
There once was a Jummy from Plains
Who in  life endured many shames
A royal fuckup by habit
And once attacked by a rabbit
They drove him quite madly insane

This NewsMax article, ostensibly covering the Chavez voting machine controversy, contains a nugget. In 2004 the Venezuelan commie faced a recall election so transparently rigged that the EU refused to act as an observer. But our man Jummy was willing. A post election analysis showed a slew of irregularities.

  • Exit polls showed that 58 percent of voters favored ousting Chavez and only 41 percent wanted him retained. But election officials conveniently reported that 58 percent of voters wanted to retain Chavez and 41 percent wanted him ousted.
  • Thousands of voters were mysteriously removed from the voting rolls.
  • Citizenship was granted to half a million illegal aliens in a crude vote-buying scheme.
  • Citizens were "migrated" away from their local polling places. One opposition leader was moved to a voting center in a city seven hours away, another was instructed to vote at the Venezuelan Embassy in Stockholm.
  • Bands of Chavez’s thugs brutally assaulted citizens in Caracas who were peacefully protesting the rigged election results, and fired indiscriminately into the crowd. A 61-year-old grandmother was shot in the back and killed.

Here' that nugget ...

"The most widely heralded outside observer of the election, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, ignored demands that the recall results be investigated, despite the restrains that had been placed on observers.

"Nevertheless, Carter claimed in a letter to the Wall Street Journal that his monitoring center "observed the entire voting process without limitation or restraint.”

So What
Here's a Happy Meal for Ivy League educators, and other Western Civ haters.  The claim is "that Chinese seafarers and concubines settled in Malaysia, India, Africa, the Americas, Australasia, and across the Pacific, almost a century before the Europeans started their historic voyages of exploration."

Whoop-di-doo.That's more adventuresome than the Cold War era Soviet claim that communists invented baseball, or Leonard Jeffries' assertion that every advance in  history was made by blacks, but whites stole the patents, or anything that Al Gore says.  Here's why.

What  matters is impact, as in who cared? The Columbus voyage changed the world, any others are drops of gull poop in the sand.  No Chinese invention, gunpowder, or chopsticks, meant anything until the West adavnced it.  Learn it, love it, and get over it.

NOTICE

Over the weekend I finally grew fed-up with Blogger, and pulled the pin on my new Movable Type blog much earlier than I wanted to.  I was hoping to have a nice slick interface, but that requires a whole new learning experience. CSS is new language and new syntax, and I really didn't want to waste the time, but alas. Anyway, that's what the "Use the Emergency Exit for USA site'' header blurb  refers to.  For the time being I'm mirror posting over there.  As my mood and muse dictate,  I'll modify the look and feel.   Some of you may prefer the tighter look over there, so suit yourself.  Eventually this blogger site will gather dust.

The URL is USA-UAS-USA.com because I mistyped the registration name, simple as that.  I was thinking one thing and wrote another, which I do every day of my life. The Seeds & Hammers name may be transient as well.  It refers to what I believe my strengths are ... planting seeds, but not necessarily growing them into healthy produce.  The Hammer part addresses my need to vent at people I dislike, without regard to the damage it does.  That's why I take 2000 mg of Prozac, and 20 ounces of Bourbon every day.

That's all.

Misguided Angst
The following essay has been excerpted from the German best-seller "World War for Wealth: The Global Grab for Power and Prosperity" by SPIEGEL editor Gabor Steingart. SPIEGEL ONLINE is publishing a series of daily excerpts from the book.
''In the West, gradual de-industrialization has created a new underclass of the unproductive and intellectually depraved. The spiritual cousin of the American phenomenon of "white trash," these strangers in their own land have become a serious threat to democracy.''

Wrong appeasment breath.  It's not "white trash," but "entitlement slaves,'' at which process Europe excels.  Anyway, why worry about it?   I believe Tony Blankley was correct when he stated  that "the West will have to decide which it values more: granting these rights and tolerance to those who wish to destroy us, or the survival of Western civilization." [The West's Last Chance: Will We Win the Clash of Civilizations? ] .  All evidence is that Europe is  belly-up to the Islamo threat.

Obama Rama Ding Dong

Today's Q&A
Q. Who is Barack Obama that Liberals get wet panties at the mention of his name?

A. He was elected to the U.S. Senate from Illinois two years ago.

Q. But, what has he done?

A. Nothing.  Absolutely nothing - except excite delegates to the 2004 Dem convention with a speech.

Q. How hard is that?

A. Not hard at all.  Let me show you what I mean.

Q. Then why are the media acting like he can be elected president?

A. Because there are no democrats on the scene who can be elected, and Barack has it all ... he's black, he's uber liberal, and he has no record that can be attacked.

Q. Can he possibly win?

A. Not even if he ran against Ann Coulter

The link is to the web site for Beccy Cole. The song is Poster Girl, and it's her response to bad press she got for visiting Australian troops "on the wrong side of the world".

I'm really hoping I'll see this linked on your site. This lady deserves all the good press she can get.

RC Weapons

Now we have a radio controlled (RC) Concorde.  These things just amaze me.  The first time I saw one .. I mean immediately, I thought ''what a great assassination device. "  They can fly at speeds approaching 300 mph.  Load one  with C-4, and bang.  There'll be books and movies using that plot device (''Look Ted, a Concorde''), wait and see. BTW, if you like seeing them crash, here's another (not the B-52 we saw earlier).

Bernard Lewis lectures

“Freedom and Justice in Islam”
The following is adapted from a lecture delivered on July 16, 2006, by ·Bernard Lewis, Cleveland E. Dodge Professor Emeritus of Near Eastern Studies, Princeton University, during a Hillsdale College cruise in the British Isles.· I think yopu'll find it worthwhile.
Guess who won
<snippet>

Let me illustrate the significance of this with one example:

Germany has constitutional separation of church and state, but in the German school system they provide time for religious instruction. The state, however, does not provide teachers or textbooks.

They allow time in the school curriculum for the various churches and other religious communities—if they wish—to provide religious instruction to their children, which is entirely optional.

The Muslims in Germany are mostly Turks. When they reached sufficient numbers, they applied to the German government for permission to teach Islam in German schools. The German authorities agreed, but said they—the Muslims—had to provide the teachers and the textbooks. The Turks said that they had excellent textbooks, which are used in Turkey and Turkish schools, but the German authorities said no, those are government-produced textbooks; under the principle of separation of church and state, these Muslims had to produce their own.

As a result, whereas in Turkish schools in Turkey, students get a modern, moderate version of Islam, in German schools, in general, they get the full Wahhabi blast. The last time I looked, twelve Turks have been arrested as members of Al-Qaeda—all twelve of them born and educated in Germany.

In 3328 words, Professor Lewis pretty much defines the whences, whys and hows of Islam.

That 70's Show

''Once again, as in 1864 and 1974, we face a pivotal election. Yes, we need a change of plan. Mr. President, turn Sherman lose.''

''If Democrats repeat the Republican triumph of 1994, the world will suffer consequences similar to what followed another election two decades earlier. The election of 1864 also has something to tell us.

''Democrats are hoping a nation weary of a tough war in Iraq and a campaign against an alleged "culture of corruption" will result in an electoral tsunami similar to what returned the GOP to power in Congress in 1994.

''But this election is more like the one in 1974, when a "third-rate burglary" led to a president's resignation and his party's defeat, plus disastrous political and economic consequences.''· - That '70s Show

O'Reilly on Oprah

O'Reilly on Oprah
Last night we watched what Oprah called her antidote for an earlier Frank Rich appearance.· Okay, she used ''response,'' but snake bites require antidotes, and she chose Bill O'Reilly· (showing the clip where he questioned the veracity of Mr. Rich after his appearance). ·

Don't sneer folks.· Many, many Americans get nearly 100% of their political socialization via Oprah.· My take on her is she's a genuine person, who tries.· At heart Oprah is a staunch liberal, but willing to attempt fairness.· I think her very civil behavior (acceptance) when Dubya was her guest (during the 2000 campaign)· was crucial to his election.· She is a political force, although one that can explode at times (Katrina).

Anyway, O'Reilly was as good as you'll probably get in this type of forum.· That is to say, he's glib, self effacing, and does not back down.·

O'Reilly:· [Frank Rich] is a Bush hater.

Oprah:· He says he's not.

Me:· LMFAO

O'Reilly: Believed by anyone who's never read his column.

Not a direct quote, but substantially on target. There were two- maybe three ACLU activists/apologists in the audience, and he was, I thought, effective in explaining that this organization -of perhaps the filthiest group of Americans extant-· is· nothing more today than a gaggle of left-wing political activists.

The most effective audience comments came from a young Black American.· During one exchange he noted that FOX news was the only venue where the ''right questions'' were asked of interviewees. In another, he opined that Iraq has served as a magnet, drawing terrorsts from around the world to confront us there, and not here.· Clap-clap-clap.·

There was even an All-American pasty faced (really), America hating bitch (whom both of us wanted to see vigorously face slapped) in the audience.· Her diatribe included all the official DNC talking points, including Cheney getting rich off Haliburton's involvement in Iraq.· She was dismissed with· an O'Reilly eye roll, not worthy of· retort.
